Bear Walking Pal is made by IDEAMP (EUIHYUNG JUNG). We do not have user accounts, and we do not sell your data.

Step and health data

With your permission, the app reads step count and flights climbed from Apple Health and your iPhone's motion sensors. This data is used only on your device to show your progress. We do not write to Apple Health, and we do not send your health data to our servers or to anyone else.

Walk notes and voice

Walk notes, including notes you dictate by voice, are stored on your device. Speech is transcribed using Apple's speech recognition. We do not receive your notes or recordings.

iCloud

If you use iCloud backup, your settings and records are stored in your own iCloud account and handled by Apple. We cannot access them.

Purchases

Premium is purchased through the App Store. Apple processes the payment; we never see your payment details.

Crash reports and app diagnostics

To find and fix problems, the app uses Google Firebase (Crashlytics and Analytics). These services may collect crash logs and basic device and app information, such as device model, OS version, and app version. This information is not used to identify you, and it is not used for advertising. See Firebase's privacy information.

Children

The app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date above.
